    xbox 360 wont update


    so i bought an xbox 360 for my son and when i turn it on i just get a message saying "system update stopped cant read the update from the disc.please reinsert the disc to continue the update. if the problem persists visit xbox support. status code: 3F4B-4099-B800-0F00-C000-0013"
    im dont have a disc with the update on it so ive tried using a usb to update it (the usb is formatted correctly) but im still getting the same message and i cant clear the system cache because i cant get past this error screen.

    I update my xbox 360 and now it wont let me on xbox live I called xbox live after the update told them and they said that someone will called with in 24 to 48 hours and now its the 3rd day and no calls I think xbox live dont care about us and dont wont to
    fix our xbox 360.

    From what I have read, you and Andy will still be able to play on the 360, it just wont update on the xbox one after you do the transfer, ie if you level up on the 360 it wont carry over, hope this helps
