    My Xbox 360 won't show all the movies on my WD MyCloud drive when I view it. Is there a way to solve this?

    New external hard drive recognized for media - won't format for games and apps.

    Hey guys, so I originally bought an external hard drive to store movies and tv shows on for my mac. That worked great and I plugged it into my xbox 1 and used the media player app to watch them. That worked great as well. Then I found out I could format
    the hard drive for games and apps to store games on there. So I did that, but now I want to go back to the media player to watch my movies and it won't recognize the hard drive. My mac now won't recognize it either. Did I lose all my movies and tv shows? Thanks

    Some problems I've noticed with the xbone

    Forget Xbox Video and embrace the beauty of DLNA streaming. That way you save money and hard drive space on the console.

    I use my 360 to stream all movies and TV shows from my PC and it works wonders. Never buying a DVD or any physical movie media again.

    Accessing a share 3tb USB drive on my PC from an Xbox 360

    Go into the settings for the drive and enable sharing over your network. That's exactly what I did for my desktop PC and it shows all my movies on my secondary hard drive. Give it a try and post back. I'll bookmark this so I can check back later. :)

    So, I figured out that apparently the Asus Router wasn't updating the attached devices for some reason. But it still won't display the Movie Covers that come with allot of the downloads you buy off amazon and when you get the digital copies. If I attach
    the hard drive directly it shows those pictures and my computer shows those pictures but when streaming through the network it doesn't show up. Any thoughts on this problem?
