    I recently dusted off my Xbox 360, and had Geek Squad update it so we could play through LOTR War in the North Xbox 360 won't play new game. :D It wouldn't play the disk, which had some wear and tear, so I bought a new copy. It still won't play it. It does play other games, but just not this one. What is going wrong here?

    My 360 Elite started acting weird recently also. For some reason it won't play my new games. Ghosts or Arkham Origins. But it will play the other 40 plus games I have. What's funny is the new games will play in my old 360 (white). Well, 3 more sleeps and

    GTA V is a Xbox 360 game so it won't work on the Xbox One.

    There is no Xbox One version of the game & the One is not backwards compatible.

    If your 360 has died you will need a new 360 or get your 360 repaired in order to play GTA V

    Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

    Similar issue. Xbox 360 S 250gb, plays large collection of discs no problem. Brand new AC4, and Rocksmith 2014 won't load (unable to read). New AC3 plays fine. No used games, these are all brand new.

    Well this news won't make you happy then. Xbox One is not backward compatible 360 games won't play on it. So no hope in getting better game performance with Skyrim there I'm afraid. Personally, I'm thinking of going back to PC gaming.
