Xbox 360 won't connect to new Wifi

I had internet outages in my area and got a new Modem and Router

I can see the new network, I'm sure I entered in the right password, but it just won't connect.

I've tried with my Internet provider, but no dice, though I can try again.

I heard it might be a problem with my Xbox 360 not accepting the new wifi types, but it can see the network

I have not tried a USB Wireless Adapter yet, and probably won't be able to for a while

I've gotten a few new achievements and game progress but from what I can tell my greater Xbox account has no idea it happened due to being offline

Hi Armond!

What error message are you getting there exactly?

Try to power cycle your console and connect again to the network. Press and hold the Xbox power button for 10 sec until it turns off. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

To further isolate the issue, try to connect your console to a different network. If possible, try it with your mobile data hotspot.

It's my wifi won't connect to my xbox everything else works fine on the wifi but the wifi won't connect to my xbox one x

Hi just bought a brand new Xbox 360 slim 4gb and having the exact same problem. Can connect to live straight away using an Ethernet cable but won't connect using the wifi. The console finds my wireless network fine but after putting in the password fails
to connect. Very frustrating.

Nope, the Xbox 360 controllers won't work with the Xbox One. The Xbox 360 controllers use IR to connect to the console, whilst the Xbox One uses WiFi direct (way faster than IR).

I am having a problem with connecting to any xbox live, I moved to a new house and had a different wifi company and it won't let me connect at all. It says there's wifi but when I try connecting it loads for a long time and then says it won't connect and
