do the xbox 360, have and internal hdd as well as that on the side

the external hdd had broke, and the system files is gone too.. that why i ask if they have a internal for system files, if they do.. that one is properly broke too

There are different models of Xbox 360. The one you are talking about is the 1st Xbox 360 model (Core, Elite, Arcade) which only has the Xbox 360 hard drive on the side if lied down or on the top if stood up. The Xbox 360 S or E models are the consoles
with the internal hard drive, these can be taken out from a slot from the bottom of the console if stood up or the side if lied down.

i have a 360 arcade.. where the extra hdd, doesn't work more... but the firmware is gone too... and if I try update the xbox, without the xtra hdd, it says the is not enough place

There is 2 different Xbox 360 models

First model was known for the ring of death (Side of the xbox hard drive)

The improved model had it internal but able to be changed

Short answer, no. The OS of the console is on the HDD so if the HDD is bad then the console will not be able to update. The best bet would be to replace the HDD by checking out our
