Xbox 360 Windows 10 What if dashboard refresh concept

Have you tried a dashboard refresh to see if that helps? To refresh your dashboard press the guide button and press RT+Y at the same time. This should refresh everything and hopefully show you newer content. Also keep in mind that content displayed varies
from user to user as well as region, so your content may be different than what you see with other Xbox 360 users.

I like the current Xbox One dashboard but I do miss the Xbox 360's guide menu. It will be interesting when Windows 10 gets released. Will the dashboard stay the same or will it get a complete redesign?

Windows 10, Windows 7 and Xbox 360's UI is more loveable than Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Sometimes it feels like Xbox 1 has Windows Vista and an Intel Celeron processor inside. Honestly it shouldn't take that long to load friends, messages, and achievements.
Even the Xbox 1 Smart Glass App on my Samsung S5 (and Xbox 360 consoles Dashboard) can load friends faster than the Xbox 1 Dashboard.

The promotions that appear on the dashboard are completely random. Some promotions are by region so depending on where you live you may be able to access some and not others.

As far as being able to find a specific promotion, there isn't one. You can simply try to refresh the dashboard to get them to come up but there's no way to simply get a specific one to come up for you. To refresh the dashboard you can press the Guide button
on your Xbox 360 controller and then hold RT (right trigger) and then the Y button on your Xbox 360 controller. The dashboard should refresh and you should get a new set of ad's.

The dashboard will release to preview members sometime this year, microsoft has stated windows 10 release on PC is first priority then xbox one will get the new windows 10 dashboard UI.
