    Xbox 360 Update Issue


    I got an error message when I updated the software on Xbox 360 - ''Can't read the update from the storage device. Please reinsert it to continue the update". The system was frozen and stopped response. I copied the updates to a USB drive(FAT32)and
    tried to update through USB driver but no response at all. The remote controller can’t restart the console.
    Could anyone give advice how to restart the Xbox 360?

    The code says the installation was not done and suggests to install with USB driver. I already followed the instruction to copy the update file to a USB drive, unplug the power cable and power on again with USB drive on the console but the console
    did not response and showed the same error message. Any idea?

    The status code is 397F-4451-B780-0F00-C000-007B.

    Hey there! That issue suggests an issue with your console update. Can you try to manually update your console? You can find instructions and files here:

    OP - have you had a resolution to this issue? Per our Update Troubleshooting page, this is an issue with your network not allowing the console to download the update:

    support.xbox.com/.../system-update-help

    The first thing to do while the console is OFF is power cycle your network router and wait until it is fully functional BEFORE turning the console back ON.

    You may have lost network connectivity.
