XBOX 360 turns on but won't boot up

    XBOX 360 turns on but won't boot up

    My Xbox 360 turns on but won't boot up! Any fixes for this?

    Xbox 360 do not boot up

    I am having a really weird problem with my xbox 360. It turns on, but the Xbox 360 boot up screen, nothing comes up.But the yellow light is on. All my cables all plugged in, the disc tray opens and closes. When I turn my xbox on, it makes a sound
    like it is trying to boot up but then stops and doesn't.

    I agree that the source of the issue is the Seagate 1TB drive. The drive works fine with the Xbox 360 except for the first boot. That's what I'm confused about; the drive works fine when plugged in after the Xbox 360 boots up. What's even weirder is I
    can leave the drive connected, turn the Xbox 360 on, and when the screen freezes, leave the drive connected but turn the Xbox 360 off and back on immediately and the Xbox 360 will boot up.

    If the drive didn't work with the Xbox 360 at all, I wouldn't even be here. But it is only having issues on the first boot. This doesn't make sense to me. If the Xbox 360 recognizes the drive under every other condition, what is causing the issue with
    the first boot?

    Can you please power down the Xbox 360 console remove the power cables from the console and the wall outlet for two minutes to allow the console to fully reset. After this connect everything back on and attempt to power up the console. If the console still
    does not fully power on please disconnect any accessories and hard drives connected to the console then try power up the console again.

    Can you also try following the support guide below.

    Well, that sounds a bit frustrating. I would try to contact Customer Service and see if they can help you figure out what's going on.
