    Xbox 360 True Skill Ranked Servers


    Currently there is something going on with the ranked servers for true skill. Anything involving true skill with games such as FEAR 2, Lost Planet 2, GRAW, Kane and Lynch, Quake 4, GTA IV, and so on are having issues with multiplayer having games with multiple players connect. When they do connect after multiple attempts the matches will error and send you back to the menu, or if you manage to finish the match, they don't even count towards the leaderboards. This seemed to have happened around the time the GFWL issue occurred but seems to be unrelated as the GFWL issue has been recently fixed and the 360 true skill servers seem to still be wonky when trying to play a match or even connect.

    Trueskill isn't fully down as there are sometimes you can get a game to count/connect, but there is an issue with it currently as described in the paragraph above. Maybe the ATG team (if they're still around) can take a peep as to what is happening behind the scenes?

    ^^Very true... the difference in ranked and quick is XP



    In quick matches you give up a little XP to avoid waiting for a room to fill up.



    Quick matches are on dedicated servers as well as ranked, it's just that ranked gets preference on the servers. Horde and beast P2P.

    At the end of the day though, the ranking system don't mean jack. Whether you think it's a cheap way of leveling up or not, it's a cheap ranking system that means nothing.

    I'd still like someone to justify why they disagree with me.
    the True Skill rank system was a great, and ever so frustrating, system that really marked player skill. It was hard to level up your True Skill. As well as your true skill rank could drop
    in the blink of an eye.

    skill ranking fluctuates 'in game' because of the servers. But statsverse has the average. So yeah, his average skill ranking is 157. Must be all those kills while ignoring the objective.
