Xbox 360 to Xbox One Upgrades

• I saw that for Dishonored the Definitive Edition it was going to be $20 instead of $39.99 since I own a digital copy of the 360 version. There are other games that I own and I'm sure other games other customers own where this has not been taken into
  effect. A few where it has not been updated are the following.

Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light

Call of Duty Ghosts

Assassin's Creed Black Flag

Titanfall

The Evil Within

Alien Isolation

Resident Evil Remastered

Gears of War Ultimate Edition

Grand Theft Auto 5

Thief

Having this feature on some games but not others along with having to pay full price for a game that has been purchased before is a bit much. I hope this can be sorted out and that other people can list games they are having the same problem with.

I know this has been talked about before but it's just appeared on OXM today about GAME in the UK.

Dishonored having this discount is a weird one, I think, considering the game was a Games with Gold offering on 360. Thief too was recently free on the 360.

I got the Xbox One ACIV season pass content for free because I owned the 360 season pass. I know State of Decay's price was slashed for 360 owners getting the One version. There have been a few discounts like this.

It's generous of Bethesda to mark the price of Dishonored down. I don't think it's a thing many publishers will be doing/have done. Not if you look at the pricing of things like that Xbox One Prototype bundle... that is... heh ha... it's hilariously over-priced.

They're two separate games. The publisher isn't in any way, shape or form obligated to make these upgrade deals. For those who do, good for them, but they lose money in the process. It's not good business.

Side note, I do want to play GTAV on XB1 but I won't pay full price for it. Not when I can get it for much, much cheaper on the 360, if I wanted to.

 

Minecraft also had a nice deal, where if you bought it for the 360, you could get it on the One for $5. As Kanaye mentioned, it is up to the publisher to offer these deals. They don't have to do it.
