XBOX 360 TECHNICAL INTERNET ISSUE

Hello, everyone reading this! I hope I have come to the right place to get this issue addressed. I just recently purchased an XBOX 360 and (The last model built with the 250GB Internal HD) As I am setting it up, I initially went and hardwired my internet connection to the console. To my surprise, I was getting a (Failed, Blocked, Blocked) message when testing the connection. I assumed there was something wrong with the ethernet cable I was using. So, went ahead and found my network via wifi and connected it that way. Again, (Failed, Blocked, Blocked) message as the test results. Now I am confused. I follow the steps to troubleshooting and none of the steps help. Finally, I say let me try my personal hotspot (IPHONE 13 Pro Max) and the 360 Connects right away. I do the system update on it and I figured maybe that was the problem. It was not, I still can only connect through hot spot and not my home internet. Someone, please tell me what I am doing wrong.

lxGREATNESSxI, there are a few things we could try:

1. Press the XBOX button on the controller, go to "Settings" and select "System Settings".

2. Select "Storage".

Highlight, but do not select, a storage device and press the Y button on the controller to access Device Options.

***Note It does not matter which storage device is selected. This procedure will clear all storage devices from the cache.***

3. On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache.

4. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select "Yes".

***Note After successfully clearing the system cache, you will be returned to the Storage Devices screen. Press the XBOX button on the controller to return to Xbox Home.***

Then roll back and reinstall system updates. To do this:

Press the Panel button on the controller.

Go to Settings and select System.

Select Storage.

Enter the following sequence of buttons: X, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.

Select the option to roll back all installed system updates. The console will automatically restart and download the updates again.

Restart your network hardware. Learn how to do this:

Unplug the power cord from the back of the router, modem, or gateway. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cord from both devices.

Turn off the Xbox 360 console by pressing the power button on the front of the console.

Wait five minutes.

If you are using router, plug it in and wait for all lights to return to normal state.

Plug in the rest of the hardware and try connecting to Xbox Live.

As stated many times before, your best bet is to contact your Internet provider Technical Services and/or contact Xbox Technical Support at 1-800-469-9269 or via their Twitter feed @XboxSupport regarding this issue.

I'm sorry to hear that the Xbox was acting that way that lead to you having to replace the network card, however discussing self repair or asking how to self repair a modded console is not allowed on the Xbox forums as per the

Xbox Forums Rules and Guidelines. Your only option is to get a new console since it would not be possible to send in the console to Microsoft Device support. Due to the reasons stated, we will be locking this thread. If you get a new Xbox and you end up
having any other questions or concerns in accordance with the guidelines, please feel free to come back and create a new thread.

In accordance with
Code Standards § vii:

Connect modified or tampered hardware to Xbox Live

Use unauthorized hardware or accessories

This could be a violation and no doubt also voids your Xbox and/or controller warranty.

Did you try updating the controller firmware while it was plugged in via micro USB to the console? Are you on an Insider system update?

Everything is up to date. I have 5 controllers and an xbox remote. And nothing works. I know its got to be a hardware issue. And i know i voided the warranty. I dont care. I just want to fix it so i can play my games.
