    Hello, I have a problem with the red light in the Xbox 360. When I insert the hdmi cable, the light turns on, but if I turn it on and leave it on, it works fine.

    If I may ask, how many flashing lights are you seeing? Depending with the flashing lights will be the resolution.

    But with the detailed information that you have provided it seems like the HDMI cable is faulty. Also, you can check this link:

    I apologize but Microsoft no longer offers repairs for the Xbox 360 consoles, you may need to have it checked in any of your local repair shops.
