I bought an Xbox 360 slim used. The Xbox won't connect to my wifi. The Xbox dont show me any wirless, but if I plug the ethernet cable, internet work. What can I do ? Pleas help me

My Xbox 370 Slim wont connect to wifi. It has connected to other wifi connentions before but It won't connect to mine.

My xbox 360 slim won't connect to any Wifi networks in my neighborhood, for the last 4 weeks. I even tried to do the things that xbox support told me to do and it didn't work. I need help.

If you go to Xbox Network Settings, under Available Networks, can you see the name of your wireless network, or any wireless network for that matter?

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your router and your modem as well (if this is not a single device).

Which security method are you using, to secure your wireless network (WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK)?

Also, make sure the name of your wireless network (SSID) have no spaces in it.

Hi just bought a brand new Xbox 360 slim 4gb and having the exact same problem. Can connect to live straight away using an Ethernet cable but won't connect using the wifi. The console finds my wireless network fine but after putting in the password fails
to connect. Very frustrating.

Im pretty sure that you cant use the old wifi adaptors with the xbox 360 slim because the internal wifi connection utilizes wifi-N, the newer standard of wireless connections and may not properly interface with the xbox 360 slim.

As for getting a better signal.... i dont think it really makes a difference, most issues regarding that usually are environmental issues surrounding the 360 and nearby access point or the router. For instance having thick walls, microwaves, other computers
running wireless, etc.

Same problem here. My new xbox 360s connects to my network via internal wifi but it will not connect to xbox live. Everything else in the house connects fine. My xbox even connects when I plug in the old Adapter( from my last xbox) meaning the issue is with
the internal wifi. This is one reason I bought a new xbox slim(internal wifi) this is BS!
