Discus and support Xbox 360 slim not playing OG Xbox games in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My Xbox 360 S has a hard disk drive of 320 Gb and I know the 4gb version can’t play og Xbox games.     Xbox 360 slim not playing OG Xbox games


    My Xbox 360 S has a hard disk drive of 320 Gb and I know the 4gb version can’t play og Xbox games. And it says “This original Xbox game is not supported on your Xbox 360 console. An update to support this game may be available.” My Xbox 360 is updated and the games I’m trying to play are Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie which are supported.

    Also the disks are very clean. And the Hard disk drive is official

    I don’t know what to do

    This happens to my OG xbox 360, But not my slim. Weird huh?

    Hi, Pierce BoysPierce,

    The two titles you mentioned are not part of the Xbox backwards compatibility list. The only two SpongeBob games that are compatible on Xbox are SpongeBob: Truth or square and SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants slam! You can find the list here . These OG games are not on this list for any of the Xbox series or 360

    I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. You cannot play Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie on your Xbox 360 S console. Do you have other OG Xbox games that you have tried that work? I think you need an internet connection to download the OG Xbox profile for backward compatible games. I will reach out to one of my team members to confirm that and see if that's the reason you are having this issue.

    Xbox games on Xbox 360

    Yes, you can Play OG XBOX Games on the 360. Two Things are recommended:

    1. A original XBOX 360 Hard Drive

    2. The OG XBOX Game must be BC to the XBOX 360

    You can find the BC List on the Internet or on XBOX.com

    X1 No Backwards Compatible

    I've still got my 360 from launch. noisy as hell compared with my slim but it's still going strong in the bedroom.

    I've also got around 120 OG Xbox games, and you know what? I've played maybe 3 of them since the 360 came out. trust me, you'll get over it
