    xbox 360 slim 4gb e79 error


    I dont play my xbox much and i dont have a hard drive, i turned on my xbox and played for about 30 mins, then the screen froze so i turned it off. i turned it back on and the xbox had a red light on the front and on the screen it had the error report e79.
    anybody no what i should do?

    Hey man, i have the same problem, but i first i get the E79 Code Error and after that my Xbox only have the Red Light and dont show anything on the screen

    You could certainly purchase a hard drive for the console and see if it will work after plugging it in however that would only be a band aid fix as the console would still need to be repaired or replaced.
