    xbox 360 servers are being slow


    The xbox 360 servers are being super slow, since yesterday August 10th, 2020 me and a bunch of people who play xbox 360 games noticed that on cod4,waw, and mw2 that when you go online it takes 2+ minutes to "download games settings" and some people I talk
    to say it takes up to 10 mintutes, just wondering if they can some how fix this?

    Yes you did, but the backward compatible game uses the same xbox 360 servers, which if they were slowing down 360 users, then it would affect Xbox One users too.

    There is no official information on MS/Xbox slowing down the Xbox 360 servers. But in my opinion I would doubt it given the success of the Backwards Compatibility aspect of Xbox One.

    It could be due to all the traffic coming through due to people being home and it's slowing down the server.

    It could just be the payment handling servers that are being slow, having maintenance, or down sometimes. If this is the case the Xbox team are probably working on getting them back to working order soon.
