Xbox 360 S will not turn on after RDoD

The Xbox 360 that was peed on is probably gone for good. I'm not even sure Microsoft does work on them now. The only way to get the info off is if the hard drive is compatible with the new Xbox you purchased. (And if the hard drive didn't get wet) If your
son saved his game saves in the Cloud, he will still have those as least.

Unfortunately, pee contains minerals and other stuff that can corrode and damage electronics, even if you let it dry.

So I'm afraid, the Xbox 360 is broken, and can't be repaired by yourself (or at least we can't give you instructions here).

To make matters worse: Microsoft stopped servicing Xbox 360 consoles altogether, as the necessary spare parts aren't made anymore. So you can't even get the console repaired. And "water" damage isn't covered by the warranty.

Since you say the console has an Internal Memory Card, you probably have one of those 4GB consoles without hard drive.

In that case, there is also no way to get data off the IMC, as these flash chips are soldered on the console's main board.

Unless you're willing to pay several hundreds to a professional data recovery company that might try to pull the contents off the IMC, you can count the save games on the IMC to be lost.

However, as long as you still can sign in to your Microsoft Account that purchased the games you downloaded on the internal storage, you can download these for free to the new console.

I've read that it should be ok since the system wasn't plugged in but you're probably right. I'll check into the hard drive compatibility though. Do you know anything about the IMC (internal memory card)? Thank you so much!
