    I think My 250gb hard drive in my Xbox 360 S Model 1439 is going out. I have many games downloaded onto it from the Store, some of which are no longer available on the store. Some are saved on flash drives connected to the console. I am aware of the need for a new hard drive and transfer cable, but how exactly do I make sure everything is transferred correctly?

    Sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.

    Go to settings and select Account.

    Select Download History.

    Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, select the item, and then select Download Again.

    The current model of Data Transfer cable will not transfer from one Xbox 360 S console to another. However, you can certainly use a USB storage device to transfer. :)
