Xbox 360 S HD replacement

Is there a valid reason that you need to replace the part in reference? If the console is damaged you should take it to an authorized retailer/electronics repair place to have it looked at and fixed under warranty/product user agreements so as to not violate
said warranties or agreements you'd have made upon the original purchasing of the console. If the console isn't damaged, and there is no reason to replace the part other than just wanting to, then unfortunately this question could be considered discussion
of 'self repair' which is prohibited on the forums.

But! I would try asking on reddit, someone over there would for sure be able to help assuming their Xbox Forums doesn't prohibit self repair and replacement discussions.

The internal hdd can technically be replaced but i dont think you can find a reasonably priced drive. External usb drive isnthe easiest

You could use an external HDD for the 360. I believe you can use upto 250GB or 500GB.

please be very careful with this as it may break your Xbox. Id recommend you just buy an old Xbox 360 and use the hardrive from there.

the transfer cable is meant for one thing

to transfer DATA not to replace a HD or make a connection to use a HD

you will only be able use an offical xbox s HD

anything else moded to use in the xbox can and probably will result in a console ban
