Xbox 360 resurrections and implementation to current market

So... Being a gamer for many years and recalling some of the most exiting events of my life happening on a console; I think its high time for an industry saving idea that welcomed or not, was happening anyway. I'm talking about emulation. A word that some industry giants might dread in some ways. I won't be getting into details about legalities since my idea involves Microsoft doing the right thing here.

The Xbox 360 software had many years of updates and iterations that made the Xbox one of the most purchased home entertainment devices ever made. I would seem like a bit of a waste to me to let it fade like obsolete software. There could be a solution. One that has already been implemented before, and that is backwards compatibility. Being able to modify this idea to meet current industry demands whilst being profitable could present a challenge, but one that I think is possible for a company such as Microsoft and their brilliant Xbox team.

I propose utilizing the existing Xbox 360 software as a client for different operating systems as a means to access the likes of juicy content that is the Xbox Live Arcade. I think this client software should have a store like all the other Microsoft products that succeeded the Xbox 360. The Windows platform is more than capable to execute such a task just like the Xbox 360 did with the original Xbox.

Being able to tap into such a rich repository of games could be good for the industry, specially in the younger demographics because many of those games help to train the less experienced and gain knowledge about games that in my opinion is a little hard to come by these days. It can help to elevate interest in more complicated games that would in fact yield a greater profit for the future of gaming as an industry.
