    Xbox 360 purchases not downloadable


    I've been playing Trials HD and Trials Evolution with my sons, with both games having been bought digitally through Xbox when they came out. I knew that I had also purchased Trials Fusion, so I assumed that it would be in my library and that I could just download it.

    Apparently not. I'm being told that I have to buy it again.

    I can view my purchase history in my Microsoft Account going back to 2011, and I can see that I bought Trials Fusion at the end of 2014, but my xbox account doesn't recognise it. It clearly recognises older games and it recognises other purchases made before and after Trials Fusion. Having looked through my purchase history, I can also see other games that are no longer recognised as purchases, including Dark Souls II, Lego Movie Videogame, Dishonored, Batman: Arkham City, DDXbox 360 purchases not downloadable :Dark Arisen, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

    Clearly not just a one-off, but there are games there that I would play, but can't. I can access all Order Refs as proof of purchase through a single account.

    Can anyone offer advice? Tried using the MS contact route, but it's an endless cycle of chatbots and not understanding the issue.

    Hey there howlingwolf23!

    Downloadable content and games are not compatible between the Xbox One console and Xbox 360 console. If you have purchased downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and would like to use it on the Xbox One, you will need to purchase it on the Xbox One.

    If 360 games are not compatible with xbox one then the option to re-purchase or download for free won`t even exist.

    There simply won`t be any 360 games on the xbox one.

    As far as the 360 goes,anything you have already purchased will always be there to download for free,for as long as microsoft support the 360.
