Xbox 360 profile and game saves don't sync properly anymore

The Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One behave differently when saving a game than actual Xbox One games.

The emulated Xbox 360 games have no concept of being "in hybernation" or multitasked like Xbox One games. Therefore, if you just played a Xbox 360 game, and just switched to another game, or simply turned the console off, the console can't properly finish
saving/syncing the game to the cloud storage.

Whenever you play a Xbox 360 game, and you finished saving and playing the game, make sure that you actually quit the emulated Xbox 360 game by going to the Home Screen of your Xbox One, press the menu button on the main game tile with the running Xbox 360
game, and choose to Quit the game.

Then the console will properly save and sync the game. Also make sure your console has time to upload the cloud save. If your console is in "Instant On" mode, this will be done in a few minutes, if you turn the console off. If it's in "Power Saving" mode,
the console will be completely turned off, and it might not have had time to sync the game to the cloud yet.

So give it a few minutes to let it sync, and then shut off your console.

To set your expectations properly, if something goes wrong during game play, the save data might not sync correctly, and an empty or corrupted file could be written in its place. If the cloud save was already overwritten by the new/empty or corrupted file, there is no way to recover your previous progress since it was not properly saved to the cloud after gameplay.

Kindly perform these steps to force a re-sync of your cloud save data.

Make sure that you are connected to Xbox Live and that you are connected to a stable Internet connection so that it can properly communicate with the cloud servers.

If you had cloud saving enabled on your Xbox 360, your progress might still be available. Please check it by going to Settings > System > Storage > Cloud Saved Games on your Xbox One.

And then sign out your profile from the Xbox.

Next is to download your profile by pressing the Guide button, selecting Download Profile, and signing in.

Then exit and restart the game.

To start, I would recommend checking if your Xbox Live account is properly synced with your game save data. You can do this by going to the "Settings" menu on your Xbox console, selecting "System," and then "Storage." From there, you can check if your game save data is properly synced with your Xbox Live account.

If your game save data is not properly synced, you can try manually syncing it by going to the "Manage Game & Add-ons" option for Starfield and selecting "Saved Data." From there, you can select "Sync Now" to manually sync your game save data with your Xbox Live account.

There is no "Sync Now" option. At least not on my xbox.

It would be great if there was a fix for this issue as i have lost almost 50 hours progress and Sync issues still persist. For the record I have 1gb Internet speed with 0 issues. As suggested elsewhere I check my network connection and xbox reports all is good and no problems with any other game nor cloud gaming.
