    I am having issues with my Xbox 360 E that I got 9 years ago. today I decided to move it, to my desk space after it sitting turned off for three+ years. When I turned it on I noticed that everything
    was default and when I went to sign in there were no profiles. I looked into settings and found that my disk was now only 3 gigabytes in total size, even though it is a TB hard drive. I concluded that my data is not lost but was partitioned off for some reason.
    I need help to recover the locked data.

    I got it working, the storage thing is still an issue, but the flash drive I hade my stuff on was not recognizable because it was in a subfolder. once I took it out of that folder, It was fin, but I am still wondering why my consol has only 3 GB of total
    space.

    I have alsmot the exact same problem. I moved my xbox one and now it won’t recognize my external storage and says I have way less storage available than I know I do. All the games that I play are uninstalled because they were installed to my external storage.
    Someone please help!!

    External HDD with two 1tb partitions.

    Partitioning is indeed possible. This is how:

    Use your PC/Mac/Whatever, and your favourite software to create the partitions. They can be in any order, but here is the setup of mine:

    Partition 0 - Stuff.

    Partition 1 - Format to FAT32. Has my 360 stuff on it.

    Then pop it into your 360 via USB cable, and you're good to go.

    Be aware that the 300GB free are only for game and app installations. The Xbox One has separate system internal partitions for savegame caching and temporary stuff, that you can't access.

    Make sure your console is connected online, and can upload savegames to the cloud to free up space.

    The Xbox One does have a Cloud, and it does save everything (apparently), but you can not access it like the Xbox 360. This cloud has unlimited space unlike the 360, which is great, but we can't even access it to ensure stuff is actually saved there.
