    Tearing has nothing to do with cables, it's part of the game when being emulated on the Xbox 360 console there is no way to remove it.

    Hi,

    It's not possible to correct this as it's part of the game code it has nothing to do with your TV. The screen tears because the games vertical sync gets disabled in-game as console has problems hitting the target frame rate. Nothing you can do about it.

    Would the original Xbox game look better in composite since it was designed to play in composite?
    Original Xbox games run in 720P HD resolution when running on the 360. If you connected up a 360 to a modern HDTV with a composite cable the image quality will be really bad and will have no impact on any screen tearing anyway.
