    XBOX 360 not showing some text / words.


    I was watching netflix on my xbox 360 and suddenly the video started to look like static green.

    Only the video was affected, and other netflix functions were working properly. Then I noticed that no text was being displayed in Netflix.

    Like home, my list, tv shows, movies, this kind of text was not being displayed. Only the symbols and images were being displayed.

    Every netflix video is this green static.

    So I went to xbox home and text wasn't being displayed there too. Also, the avatars are not being displayed.

    I tried restarting the xbox, resetting the display (by y and RT), initial setup. But no luck.

    When I go to system info, it shows white screen with no text and just back written on the bottom

    You can see there is no Text on the tiles

    No text like my pins, etc

    Wasn't the official word that there isn't going to be backwards compatibility? Either way, we'll see some Xbox 360 games show up, but as digital games and possibly updated versions.

    Completely correct. The same game, same setting (I never need to touch the game setting, and all Xbox have the same language setting), but default shows Chinese text and subtitles on Xbox 360, but default shows Japanese text and subtitles on Xbox One X.

    They asterisked me the other day for some word. I think it was "idiot" that was used in the wrong text. Some of the "bad word lists" are premade and usually only contain the variations of the bad word. They are very long sometimes so folks tend to just ignore
    the whole list and don't edit out the ones that are now acceptable. Hell used to be on that list.
