Xbox 360 Network Statistics not working correctly

Hello,

While trying to optimize my online gaming experience for my Xbox 360 I noticed the network statistic test in the settings is not working properly.

It shows a for me normal upload rate but my download is shown as 0.01 MBit/s and my latency 170ms.

Because I can still play online multiplayer games I am thinking that the shown download is not correct.

It is not clear to me if the latency is also not calculated properly.

I tried to do a separate network test with the Internet Explorer app on a website but it just wouldn’t load.

On my Series X I have 220 MBit/s Download, 39 MBit/s Upload and a latency of 30ms.

Both consoles use a wired connection with open ports.

Have you experienced something similar when testing the network statistics? Was there a faulty update recently?

I have the same issue. My Internet connection is 500/20 with 10-20ms latency and it usually performs these numbers, but using Network statistics in my Xbox 360 it shows 180-190ms latency, 12.85Mbps upload and 0.01Mbps download.

Probably the service is down and the newer gen xbox consoles use different service for this statistics.

I appreciate the detailed question, the xbox 360 is using the old standard for networking hardware, the xbox series consoles use the latest tech in wifi and networking. There have not been any updates for xbox 360 as it three generations behind.

When I remember correctly, the playtime wasn't tracked as for Xbox One or PC Games. I never saw statistics like that how long I played my Xbox 360 games.

Apologies for the delayed response, to check is this issue on the Xbox One or Xbox 360? If this is on the Xbox One, can you please share your detailed network statistics from under network settings?

LatinLassy, happy to hear the update completed for you on a different network. To help prevent this in the future can you share your Detailed Network Statistics on the console so that we can see if there are any issues there? To get to your detailed network
statistics press the menu button on the home screen and visit settings. From there select network and scroll to the right which should show the option to visit Detailed Network Statistics.
