xbox 360 - Netflix app - Notifications problem.

So I see on the xbox one you guys fixed the notifications from showing when playing videos, but the 360 still has this problem. Checking in my preferences I made sure that box was clear when viewing videos allowing notifications but notifications are still
getting through. Is there an update that is going to be coming out for the 360 to fix this over sight?

Xbox one S, Netflix dims screen when HDR is enabled

When I finally reached someone at Netflix support who had heard of HDR, I was told (after a lengthy hold) that HDR-always-on is the way the app is supposed to behave. What a joke. Please sign this Change.org petition:

Netflix video freeze when snapped

I found a temporary fix if you have a 360 and an extra HDMI chord plug the xbox 360 HDMI into the xbox one

And then use the Netflix app on the 360

Go to your xbox one and instead of snapping the "Netflix" app snap the TV app

And voila

I suggest giving these troubleshooting steps a try:

Uncheck the "Show Notifications" option (Settings > Preferences > Notifications).

Restart your Xbox 360 console.

Have someone send another message to you while you are using Netflix.

Also, when you're choosing to show your notifications or not, make sure when you check or uncheck the box that you also press the B (back) button to confirm your changes. Sometimes when you're still in that menu to choose your preferences on notifications,
message notifications follow what was previously chosen and saved.

Still showing notifications during play back of videos while streaming netflix. Receiving pop ups whenever a friend logs in. Have done all suggested items from you Miss Diggz.

Yes im having this problem also. It also does not tell me when people come online anymore

Yh this has been happening to me too. No friend notifications or Xbox app notifications and it’s really annoying. Non of my Xbox app notifications works anymore even for chats. It’s also annoying when I’m shown as on ‘home’ when I’m watching YouTube Netflix or twitch so I just appear offline so it doesn’t look I left my Xbox on.

This can happen if the Netflix credentials stored on the Xbox 360 console
are corrupted or if there's a problem with your Netflix account. In the Xbox 360 Dashboard,
go to settings, and then select System. Select Storage. ... Select Netflix and run the setup process

Or

Go to apps, select My Apps, and then select Netflix. Browse or search the Netflix library
or your queue
