    Xbox 360 Messages GONE


    Today I got on to my Xbox 360 only to find that ALL of my messages have randomly deleted. I know some expire, but all of them just randomly deleted and they're gone. I'm super sad, is it a glitch or something? Just kinda wanna know why this happened!

    Where did voice messaging go?

    On the 360 it was so easy to send friends a voice message, why is it gone on the Xbox One?

    Ever since the Xbox One servers have gone up I've had trouble with messages and other service problems on my Xbox 360. Yeah the One is great, but Microsoft, don't forget about the 360, in which I don't spend $60+ a year on service that requires me to try
    10+ tries to send a message. This is absolutely ridiculous.

    Sorry too hear that have you tried checking your live messages via the xbox app or via xbox.com

    Sign in then click My xbox at the top then choose messages

    Your message could not be sent.

    The "message could not be sent" error is gone, however, it is still not sending direct game invites or messages from 360 to 360.

    To play the NCAA14 Dynasty user games we have to join a party and invite from there. It is at least playable now. Not sure about other games.

    XBOX ONE messages icon problem

    The problem turned out to be an unread message that had been squirreled away in the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app that I had uninstalled from my iPad several months ago. I re-installed the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app, deleted the offending message, and the message
    icon in both the Xbox One Dashboard and the Windows 10 Xbox app returned to normal. I don't know why the message only showed up in SmartGlass, but I'm just glad the *** thing is gone.

    Order has been restored to the universe.
