XBox 360 Media Center Extender Streaming WTV video freezes frequently

I am having problems with my Windows Media Center WTV files freezing when using my Xbox 360 as an extender. I need to skip backwards or forwards to get the video started again.

1) I have done a fresh Windows 7 Ultimate install...without SP1 and with SP1 installed and with the latest updates. (PC with Windows 7 Ultimate on SSD drive running on a ASRock motherboard with A8 AMD CPU (Quad -Core) with 16MB Ram, with 3TB WD Hard Drive
and 436 movies stored on HD)

2) I have set my Gigbit NIC to flow control to match the XBox

3) No firewall running, no anti-virus installed, no other programs except Windows 7 in its natural form etc.

4) No add-on codecs - still using the MS native codecs

5) Tried routers Linksys EA4500, Linksys E4200v2, Netgear R7000, D-link, Asus, etc..doesn't make a difference - not a router issue

6) Netgear GS116E, Netgear GS108E, Linksys 8 port unmanned switch and no switch...doesn't make a difference

7) CAT 5e Ethernet..cable tested and swapped out ...doesn't make a difference - Although the whole system is wired Cat 5E, I even tried wireless and I have the same problem.

8) Direct streaming from amazon prime via the Xbox..no problems

9) Direct steaming via Media Player via Xbox to WMC. 7 no problem.

10) Steaming music from WMC to Xbox 360.. no problem

11) All recordings are done via WMC..so all files are WTV

12) No problem when playing the files directly on the PC, its only via XBox 360

13) No problems with Live TV via WMC stream to XBox 360

14) No packs dropped during steaming

15) No error recorded on the event viewer on the PC

16) I've re-installed my Xbox 360 as extenders many times to clean things up

17) I've spoken to MS and Media Center team they have me turned on all the PC's relevant services - doesn't solve the problem

18) Streaming MPEG files do not have any problems streaming, just WTV files

Did I mentioned, that I have done a fresh install 10x in over 2 years? still I have the same problem. AND I'VE CALLED MICROSOFT AND ALL DIVISIONS POINT ME TO: XBOX POINTS ME TO WINDOWS, THEN WINDOWS POINTS ME TO WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER FOLKS and PC hardware
company points me to Microsoft etc. I think you get the point.

My only hypothesis that could be causing the pause, is a bug in XBox 360 that needs to increase the buffer of the stream or an error correction handling issues when the recorded WTV is been streamed.

I've exhausted all google/bing searches and no answers.

Streaming Media to Xbox One

Hey there, I can't really help your issue but confirm that the Xbox One doesn't have the same media center extender abilities the Xbox 360 did nor the same media streaming, at the moment.
