    so i bought my son another xbox 360 after he broke the xbox one!

    Today i set it up and purchased xbox live gold pass but i did it via my mobile with the account thats linked to the xbox.

    My purchase has gone through but when i go yo get the free game that comes with the pass but it keeps saying get free with live gold pass. I click that and its taking me to the purchase the pass again! Can any one tell me what im doing wrong? It shows up
    on the xbox that the pass is rhere and it shows today as the start day 31.08.19

    You will need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription individually to use it on your Xbox 360.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is not compatible with Xbox 360, so the Xbox Live Gold that comes with it cannot be used on Xbox 360.

    Games with Gold is an on top option to Xbox Live Gold and also a successful change to the game pass. Don't forget that the XBOX 360 Games With Gold Games are a gift to you that are yours even without Xbox Live Gold

    If you are playing on an Xbox 360, then yes, to play online you will need Game Pass Core (Xbox 360 will show it as Xbox Live Gold).

    No, Xbox live Gold is still available in Xbox 360. You will continue to see Xbox Live Gold on your Xbox 360 consoles, and any new Game Pass Core purchases online will appear and function under Xbox Live Gold on Xbox 360 consoles. Online console multiplayer benefits will be supported on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles.

    Access to the Game Pass Core catalogue is available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. Multiplayer games not in the Game Pass Core catalogue are sold separately, and access to multiplayer free-to-play games is open to every Xbox player. The Game Pass Core catalogue is not available on Xbox 360 consoles.

    Your Xbox 360 can still connect to Xbox Live and play online games that maintain their servers, but the Xbox 360 store and marketplace are no longer supported.

    You need to use an Xbox Music Pass and have an Xbox Live Gold membership to use the app on the Xbox 360.
