Xbox 360 Keeps Crashing

My friends and I have been having the exact same problem recently but worse today. It crashed 10 times on me today. 6 times paying GTA V online and 4 times playing Warface online some of these times have been when I am in the menus doing nothing, a couple
had been near the end of a long mission in GTA V losing all progress, extremely frustrating.

I clear all my storage device's cache at least once every day so this is obviously not the problem and I keep my xbox and power brick cool with a fan, so its not a heating issue.

It also started happening a lot to my friends and I before Xbox Live went offline for maintenance a month or so ago. This maintenance seemed to fix the regular crashing problem but it now has started happening again and is getting progressively worse culminating
in todays disaster.

So it seems microsoft needs to do another round of shutdown maintenance for Xbox Live to stop this crashing issue that everyone is having.

Hopefully microsoft/Xbox Live will give us an answer/reply/remedy and respond to our posts here as soon as possible so we can get back to uninterupted play on the best last gen console as soon as possible.

I just downloaded my profile to a different xbox 360 and the same thing is happening.

It crashes when moving over to the Change theme and customize avatar. It also crashes when going to socials and clicking on achievements then backing out.

Is there anyway to fix this?

So I've been trying to delete/reinstall the profile but now whenever I turn on the system it tells me to install the new software, I click yes, it downloads and then freezes right after and i got error code 416b-0000-3080-0506-8b05-0018

I tried to reboot and it just had me install the software again....

I also tried wiping the hard drive and formatting it to erase any errors. No luck.

liberty2k - Ok, first I would like to ask what type of fan you are using to keep your console cool? Is it one of the 3rd party types that plugs into the back of the console? If so, you should know that Xbox does not guarantee that they will work properly
with the system. Also, they do have a tendency to draw extra power from the console itself.

Also, you say that you've cleared the cache of all your storage devices. I would like to suggested removing all storage devices from your console and then restart it. If it works fine then, then add one device back into the console.

Rinse and repeat until the issue happens again. When that happens it means that that device is causing the issue.

Is there anybody there to reply to my previous post??

My xbox 360 is still crashing. No improvement.
