XBox 360 Hardware Question

Hi All,

While I'm in the middle of a game or DVD, the game will go back to the main screen and says "Opening", while the console itself has the power button flashing very quickly. To get it back I either press A on the controller it will say closing/reading
and play again, or I open the tray and close it the system will pick it up where it left off, but just is annoying.

Does anyone know how to fix that? Thanks for any advice you all can give!

Sounds to me the console is trying to open the disc tray, hence why it says opening, and closing. Try clearing the consoles cache, see if that helps.

Hi,

If nobody push the eject button, sounds like a hardware default with the button or the disc drive...

Please clean very carefully the eject button, if still opening during use, you will have to repair the console.

Most redundant question ever asked. Let's compare the specs of 8 year old hardware.... oh wait, they both equally suck now.

It is literally impossible for any 360 games to be backwards compatible. There is no question or exception. The hardware is incompatible from a technical stance.
