Xbox 360 Harddrive issue

Good evening I'm sorry your having an issue with your hard drive. Please try the below.

Turn off the console.

Unplug the power.

Take out the hard drive.

Make sure the connector is clean and the socket clean.

Carefully place a cotton swab into the hole and make sure there is no dust inside and no dust inside the connector on the hard drive module.

Plug the hard drive back in.

Connect the power.

Power on the console.

If you are talkin about the 4gig xbox 360 slim then no those arent hds

Unless it says offical xbox 360 hdd

Then its a third party which wont work for games that require hds

No you cannot attach the hard drive to a PC and do that. There is an offline update utility you can download and use.

Xbox 360 official hard drives are not able to connect or be formatted through PC unfortunately. If you are using a third party hard drive, it would depend on if that hard drive is able to connect to a PC.

Is there any other troubleshooting you have already tried? Clearing your system cache, or trying a different hard drive?

You may want to try adding storage and downloading your items back. If you were using the cloud save feature, you would not need to start
over in your games.
