    Alright, so I'm trying to get Star wars: The Force Unleashed 2 as part of the free Xbox games with gold but if I try and do it online it says: "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox."
    And even when I try that on my Xbox it says the same thing even though it's on my Xbox not Xbox.com.

    Someone please help ASAP

    Any ideas would be appreciated thanks☺

    Cannot purchase "free" 360 games on Xbox one or Xbox.com

    It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
    method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
    or get the games on the website with a payment method.

    That's usually the error message you receive if you're on a child account. Due to restrictions, child accounts can only redeem the 360 games on a 360 console.

    you will have to use an adult account with golf (not home gold to redeem the games and this only affects 360 games . Or the easiest way around it use a friends Xbox 360 to queue the game or rent one

    XXbox one doesn't count as a 360 only online transactions

    Also the emulator is only for playing not purchasing

    Remember diferent console has different effects

    On an xbox one it gives you everything but discounts and xbox games with gold 360

    If you do get an Xbox Live Gold membership for your Xbox 360 don't forget each month to redeem the Games WIth Gold games for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, this way if you do purchase an Xbox One at a later stage as long as you still have an active Gold
    subscription the Xbox One games will be available for you to download and play in addition to the Xbox 360 games.

    Note do not confuse what was there 2 years ago, today 'games with gold' is not on front page on Xbox 360

    When Xbox games with gold existed u get Xbox 360 games free and Xbox one games free. The Xbox one games u claim for free are only free with a gold subscription when it was gold. Now it's gamepass core. But when Xbox games with gold was a thing the Xbox 360 games u get for free are permanent. But Xbox one games are not. U have to keep ur gamepass core to have access to your free to play Xbox one games with gamepass core that u claimed with gold back then.
