Xbox 360 games from game pass download in wrong language

Hi,

I am a Xbox user from Switzerland.

My console is a Xbox one X.

My Xbox language setting is in English.

So my issue is that the Xbox 360 games I try to download in game pass always get downloaded in German. I've put my setting to English so Xbox one games or Xbox original games are downloaded in English but it doesn't seem to work for Xbox 360 games.

I would really enjoy playing Fallout: new Vegas again without having to learn German.

So that means unless I change my location in my settings there is nothing that can be done about it ?

Your actual physical region

You will incur region locks if you use a random location

And that would be the least of the problems you face

And it doesnt go by continent

It goes by country

And on your account region not just console and changing it incurs a 3month timer

Well that would be why I don't think you fully understand how consoles work

Xbox 360 games are region locked

Xbox one are region and language independent

Therefore any xbox 360 game you download will pick the language based on the primary language of your region

Changing language or region will most likely incur a region lock and yes language has to do with compatibility as some games are language specific

And blackops 2 is region and language locked

Downloading a different language will incur the language .lock if.he tries.and get the.dlc

Black ops 1-2 has a language lock if they use the wrong language disk or game.and download the region locked dlc the dlc is.locked with language of.the region downloading.a different region dlc will cause the language mismatch error (frpm.the 360 days )

Xbox games weren't language independent till xbox one games but.doesn't apply retroactively

And most bc titles are region locked most.famously cod games

@op you can't change it.unless you are in a region that supports the language.you are requesting like us English you must.be in the us

And you would.have to. make .the.correct purchase

Had you downloaded the game through the Xbox Game Pass? These are digital downloads, and will download the game in the language that is set from the account on the Xbox One console.
