xbox 360 game thickness min.?

any idea what the min. thickness of a xbox 360 game should be had one re-sufurfaced for outside ring but now it wont play i got calipers i can check thickness but what would min be ? cannot locate anywhere i have a couple others that need
re-surfaced but i dont want to waste money if they arent gonna work

Standard compact disc should be 1.2 mm thick. I no longer have 360 games to measure, but I would assume it is fairly standard

some people i thick. you get it on the xbox one not the 360 whats the point having a day 1 achivement on a 360

^ I do agree that if they are going to delete the manuals, then reduce the thickness of the cases. Re-design them with the thickness of some of the blu-ray or PS3 cases. The 360 cases are much thicker than they need to be.

All these disc 'repairs' do, is either:

A. Fill in the scratches in the layer with plastic (Doesn't work very well)

B. Sand off a small amount of the disc plastic surface, so the scratches aren't that deep.

Regular DVDs are thicker (even if it's micro millimeters), than newer Xbox 360 games. If you for example, take an Xbox 360 game from 2007, and then take one from today, you'll notice a significant weight and thickness difference. Disc repair methods normally
don't do anything to 'regular' thickness DVDs.

Unfortunately, because this is a 'newer' game, the middle of the disc (which is where the game ID and boot information is stored) probably got sanded or damaged. Your disc is probably useless if it doesn't work in any consoles.
