    Xbox 360 features not working


    I am still using my xbox 360 console to play legacy halo games before they are shut down. I've noticed that you can no longer change your name, motto, or location on your personal profile and that beacon comments can no longer be updated. I have tried 2 different xbox 360 consoles on 3 different xbox live accounts. I believe it's because the xbox 360 services are slowly shutting down. Am I the only one having this problem? Is there any way to fix it? Is it any different through the xbox 360 menu on the xbox one?

    My privacy settings are up to date and do not indicate any reason to why I cannot change specific features. Trying to change motto, name and location gives me the message "could not change x, please try again later". Any beacon comment i try to change gives me a message saying an inappropriate word has been used, no matter what I type in. The link you provided at the end says I have a perfect record and I can still communicate through voice and text over xbox live no problem at all.

    I've noticed that you can no longer change your name, motto, or location on your personal profile and that beacon comments can no longer be updated.
    That is not true. You can still edit your profile and other social settings on Xbox 360 consoles. Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 will never be shutdown. If you're unable to edit social settings it could be because of privacy settings or you might be temporarily banned from doing so (see https://enforcement.xbox.com for more information).

    It appears that feature may only work with if played on Xbox 360 console.

    I'm sure they'll be working on the dash and features so that the 360 will be comparable to the Xbox One.
