    Xbox 360 error: This disc's region code is incorrect for this console.


    Good day

    I bought my son a Fifa 18 game from Amazon. When we entered the disc the error 'This disc's region code is incorrect for this console' came up. I have added a new microsoft account set to United States, changed the 'locale' on the console to United States with no avail. Please help. Thank you.

    Your locale has nothing to do with the region code

    It the disc and the console

    If you have a pal console you cannot play ntsc games

    the actual console will be region locked, best to return the disc and purchase the correct one for your region.

    Hi. Thank you. The weird thing is we bought a call of duty game which is a ntsc game (the fifa 18 game is also ntsc), but it doesnt work.

    Buddy, there is the possibility that disc region is different from United States.
    In this situations I can advice you return the game that you bought on Amazon and get one that matches your original Xbox 360 region.

    Or too, get the digital version of the game using a third party seller and redeeming the game in your account
