Xbox 360 error 1001

After approx 1 hour of watching Sky catchup through my Xbox 360 it shows error 1001 at the start of approx the third or forth advert and I have to close the app down and restart it. Can anyone help with this issue. TUIA. J Banks.

it fails on the xbox 360 - Network and says ip address error then when i push Y:

W: 0000 - 0000B

X: 4000 - 1001

Y:

Z:

ID: 0001 - 0002

L: 8015 - 0002

Q: 8007 - 0435

T: WIRED

Sorry to hear you are running into problems using your Sky Catch-up App.

Other than having to restart have you attempted to go through any Troubleshooting?

If you have not yet attempted to troubleshoot I would suggest trying a few of these steps.

• Power Cycle
  
• Uninstall & Reinstall
  
• Factory Reset and Keep Games & Apps
  ( When resetting make sure you select Keep games &apps so you don't loose all your other games or applications)
  

Please let us know if this works!

 

@XBF Erick C is right, I tend to have the same issue with apps. Most of the time its when the app gets updated, not sure why.

Felix from Xbox forums here. I would try clearing your cache / performing system maintenance on your 360.

How to clear the cache on Xbox 360 after you do that... power off and on your Xbox 360.
