Xbox 360 emulator network problems

Ive been trying to play some old games i had (MW3, mass effect 3) and it keeps saying i cannot connect to xbox live. Tried deleting my profile but now i can’t download it back since it cannot conmect to the network. Everything works fine for regular xbox
one games so i’m not sure what to do, ive also tried putting the IP address to manual instead of auto but that didnt do anything either. I would appreciate help, thank you.

I am having the same problem cant play mass effect 3 multiplayer says my account is invalid i bought ea access thought it would fix it still cant play you got any ideas

Did you try deleting and redownloading your profile within the emulator? Or if you have the disc can you play with that?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging especially as those are good games. I suggest a
soft factory reset of the console while keeping your games and apps.

When youget the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

I have resolved the problem, I just modified the xbox 360 emulator configuration in the network settings. Just go in the network settings by insert the ip address in the url bar of your browser, then search in the connected devices via wi fi the xbox 360
emulator (in my case it is: dhcppc2) and set from generic device to gaming console and check the box "allowed on wlan" if not checked. The network settings may be different on different routers (mine is Technicolor MediaAccess TG788vn v2). I hope I was helpful

it's a problem with the emulator itself. not something on Xbox's side. I would suggest getting a Xbox 360 instead of using a emulator.
