Discus and support Xbox 360 Disk not working (Unrecognizable disk error) in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; So I wanted some nostalgia and I plugged the ol xbox 360 in and I wanted to play Skylanders Giants well it didn't work I would get unrecognized disk...     Xbox 360 Disk not working (Unrecognizable disk error)


    So I wanted some nostalgia and I plugged the ol xbox 360 in and I wanted to play Skylanders Giants well it didn't work I would get unrecognized disk error but if I tried to play Skyrim or Black ops 2 it would work like a charm no problems at all.

    (Keep in mind I cleared the cache of my systems storage and it still keeps on happening)

    (Also the game worked like the others at one point)

    (It couldn't be a disk drive problem because disks do work)

    Then what I did was I bought another copy of Skylanders Giants off of eBay (couple weeks later) I try it doesn't work.

    I then call xbox support explained it to them. And they could not figure it out. So they told me to go here.

    Which is funny Skylanders Giants is a 13year old game. According to the Microsoft support I have a 13year old problem lol.

    Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

    I have an Xbox 360-s with 320gb HDD.

    AC Black Flag ... Disk 2 works great, can play tutoial no prob. Disk 1 ( install disk) unrecognizable.

    Black ops ghosts ... Disk 1 works great. Can play local and online. Disk 2 ( install disk ) unrecognizable.

    GTAV 2 sets of disks, install never made it to disk 2.

    Diablo also un-recognizable.

    All disks are pristine.

    Battlefield 4 loaded no problem along with a few other titles. Have a hard time believing it is a bad opticle drive. reads lots of disks no problems. Just not install disks on a lot of newer titles.

    If you have tried everything listed in the
    disc read issues sticky     and nothing helped phoning support and ordering a repair is the next step. That sticky covers everything that you can try at home.

    connecting xbox 360 to wired network

    Symptoms last night: 1) Message disconnect from xbox live 2) went to screen need password 3) Disk unrecognizable and then errors with xbox live. The disk was World of Tanks.

    I tried to re boot multiple times and got the live up and running and worked with Call of duty 2 but it seems to be hacked or something. Any suggestions??
