    sorry for my english.

    i have a problem with xbox 360 wired controller.

    when i open a game, the controller disconnects and reconnects immediately a lot of time. the leds flash with different variants (always with yellow light).

    there are two possibilities 1) rare. after flashing, the controller does not recover, LEDs 1 and 4 are lit (in the game the view turns on itself at 360 °); then I disconnect the usb and reconnect it until the possibility n ° 2 does not appear. 2) frequent.
    after flashing, only one of the LEDs lights up. I discovered that the lit LED corresponds to the position that the PC assigns to the controller. when led 2, 3 or 4 is on, in the game the controller does not work. sometimes, after flashing, even when led 1
    is lit again, the game no longer recognizes the controller. (i tried the controller in test sites and when led 2, 3 or 4 is lit, the controller works outside the game.)

    so 1) why does the controller disconnect and reconnect continuously? 2) why does the computer assign a position other than 1 to the controller? 3) can this disconnection be avoided? 4) can the position of the controller be locked on 1?

    only the keyboard, mouse, screen (hdmi), lan, audio jack are connected to the pc. I also tried connecting only the screen and controller to the computer.

    Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
    wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.

    Are you trying to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your Windows 10 PC or is it a wired controller? If it's a wired one, here are the steps to

    calibrate your controller with your Windows PC.     You'll want to follow those steps and be sure that everything is set up correctly and try again.

    Both wired and wireless Xbox 360 controllers work on Windows 10. Wired is just plug and play while wireless controllers need a receiver. I know 360 controllers work as I've used them on my own gaming PC running the latest version of Win 10.
