    Hello, it's my first time here. So I have a Xbox 360 controller that presses random buttons. I use it on PC all the time. I'm saving up to buy a new controller but is there an app that can disable those buttons so they don't interrupt while I game. I hope

    To play on a PC with an Xbox 360 controller you need to get a wired controller. On Xbox 360 the "wire" is only used for charging on the wireless controller.

    If the Xbox 360 controller is a wired controller, then the controller can be used on the PC, just plug it in the USB port, and it should recognize it and let you use it. If it is a wireless Xbox 360 controller, then you will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows to connect the controller to your PC.

    Is the controller a wireless controller or wired? If it is wireless, how are you connecting it? If by using the play & charge kit, then the Xbox 360 controller will not work, as the cable is only recognized on PC for charging only. You need to use a Xbox
    360 Wireless adapter for PC to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your PC.

    Xbox 360 controller needs a special adapter, for detect controller on PC. If you want play with xbox controller on PC I recommend Xbox ONE controller.
