    Xbox 360 connection test failed "There is a problem with your connection"


    I want to get my Xbox 360 back up and running, however I cannot seem to connect it to the internet at all. I have tried to unplug the router trick, but it still can't connect to my internet. I have also tried resetting network settings to factory, but that didn't have an effect either. So I need some help on what I can do, thanks

    Give it a try, at least we know is not an issue with the Xbox 360. Because the console works fine with a different network

    Yes I have a windows PC and Xbox One, and It says the NAT type is open. I tried the mobile hotspot and it actually worked, but now I just need it to connect to my internet

    To troubleshoot this issue, refer to:

    or for a wired network:

    Troubleshoot an Xbox 360 wired network connection

    What point do you reach when the connection fails? Please perform another network test for both and select ‘Test Xbox Live Connection’ (not Network Statistics or any other test), then when it fails, go through any suggestions. These would indicate the possible reason(s) for this error with various ways to resolve it.

    If you don’t see any suggestions, post back and we can go through all the possibilities for this network error here.

    Do you have a windows PC or an Xbox One console and newer?
    This is to check your current NAT type for your network.

    If you have a windows PC: download and open the Xbox console companion app > settings > network

    Xbox: go to settings > general > network config

    In the meantime, may I know if you tried connecting your Xbox 360 to a different wifi network?
    For example sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your console in that way
