Xbox 360 Blinking red on half of power button

So my xbox that I’ve had for years, but haven’t touched for like 3 years i finally got it out of storage and plugged it in and everything is set up correctly, but whenever I try to turn it on the fan gets really loud and half of the power button is blinking
red. Anyone know what’s causing this?

Hi.

It's sounds like your xb360 is overheating, you gotta clean out the dust that it collected over the course of 3yrs. Try using a"keyboard air cleaner" if you got one, or they can be bought at most tech stores. Hope this helps you out.

Sounds like your console might be overheating. Try the steps listed below and ensure there's enough room for ventilation around the console.
