    hello umm ok so I KNOW that the Xbox one can play Xbox 360 games perfectly BUT not all of them I was wondering if you could add some need for speed games to the list now why? Well the answer is quite simple: because I have a copy of need for speed
    hot pursuit 2010 and throw some more need for speed games in to the mix like underground. underground 2 most wanted (Xbox 360) and finally carbon (Xbox 360) and no I do not have any problems I just want some need for speed games to be added to the Xbox one
    backwards compatibility list that's all

    Hi, i have games going from the original xbox, at present none are on the list for backwards compatibility, i love my need for speed games and none of these are evennon the 360 list. Will they become backwards compatible in the future??

    Hey there Oldskool1979,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, it looks like Need for speed Hot Pursuit is not available to play Backwards compatible on the Xbox One. In order to play the game you will need to play this on the Xbox 360.

    Here is a list of all Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games that you can play on the Xbox One.

    Backward compatibility

    There is a lot of work put into bring Xbox 360 games over to Xbox One as backwards compatible titles.

    • They need to get the developers/publishers permission to release the game to be backwards compatible.
    • Need to create a patch for the backwards compatible version.
    • Microsoft then needs to run tests on the game.
    After all is said and done, they will release the game whenever it is ready for the public. So have a little bit more patience!:)
