Xbox 360 Arcade Sticks not working on Series X?

Hi,

I have two xbox 360 arcade stick controllers for the Xbox 360, one Hori Fight Stick Ex-2 and the other is a Qanba Fight Stick Q4Rap.

No one of them are working on Series X.

I have read some time ago the compatibility of the older 360 controllers on Xbox Series X.

Is something can be added in the future or not?

Only Xbox One compatible controllers work on Series X. Xbox 360 peripherals are not supported.

Unboxed my Series X in October. Stick drift within a month. My Xbox 360 Elite controller still works flawlessly after nearly 15 years.

The new controllers are garbage.

Why in heaven's name would you stick a blurays disk into a DVD drive ?

Xbox 360 is backwards compatible not forward compatible

Xbox 360 hasn't had any new games in over a decade

You would have to get a xbox series x

You do know that xbox one version gets a dual entitlement for series x and s right ?

Hi there!

If you are planning to use an Xbox 360 arcade stick, consider looking into a Brook converter, which enables you to use some 360 peripherals on Xbox One. The X1 Killer Instinct stick should work, as it is technically a controller. I assume that any buttons
can be re-mapped in the game's settings.

Hi,

Games are usually delisted when either the digital rights expire or the company that published the game goes bust. Gauntlet Xbox 360 arcade was delisted because Midway games filed for bankruptcy in 2010.

However, Gauntlet and selection of other classic Midway arcade games is available on Midway Arcade Origins. These are ports of the arcade originals though. This collection is compatible with the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles.
