Xbox 360 Arcade/Indie Backwards Compatibility

Discus and support Xbox 360 Arcade/Indie Backwards Compatibility in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Are the Xbox 360 indie game and/or Arcade Games available on Xbox One? i.e **** or Sonic Adventures.     Xbox 360 Arcade/Indie Backwards Compatibility


    Are the Xbox 360 indie game and/or Arcade Games available on Xbox One? i.e **** or Sonic Adventures. I can't seem to find a way to install them. If not why not? Xbox seemed to be dedicated to providing indie titles with a platform so why would you not support
    indie titles when you've already released over a fifty backwards compatible titles from the Xbox 360 catalog.

    There is no backwards compatibility with any 360 games, arcade or otherwise.

    Some of them are. All backwards compatible games are listed here - Xbox One Backward Compatibility Games are still being added as backwards compatible
    so it is possible that games that aren't on the list will be added, but it's also up to the publishers to allow them to be compatible.

    so when the new xbox comes out......

    Your gamertag will absolutely be transferrable. I've had my gamertag since the day Live launched on the original Xbox. They won't take your Xbox 'identity' away.

    I also believe MS learned their lesson last gen transition regarding backwards compatability. I would expect all 360 games, including all arcade & indie games, to be compatible with the 360's successor.

    Hello,

    Any games that you have purchased on your Xbox 360 will only be playable on your Xbox 360. The Xbox One is not backwards compatible. This means that only games purchased on the Xbox One (disc, digital, indie, arcade, dlc, etc) will only work on the Xbox One.

    If you wish to continue playing your Xbox 360 games you'll need to keep your Xbox 360 console.
