Xbox 360 arcade games how to play on a different console

I want to play my arcade games that I brought on my college xbox. I have my games saved on 60gb external hard drive that is attach to my xbox. My college doesnt have the same xbox that I am able to attach the hard drive.

I put the game on a USB drive and it only came out as a demo in my college xbox. My college xbox also does not have internet access. So how can I play the full version of the game on USB.

Will 360 Arcade Market games become backwards compatible for new consoles?

I had an Xbox 360 till I faced the ring of death. Now I own an Xbox 1 S. Now that games are becoming more readily backwards compatible. Will those Arcade games like the Dish Washer Vampire Smile or Shank become available to play on the newer console? Child
of light was Arcade in the store now available in a different version. Will 360 Arcade Market Place games become Backwards?

Downloadable games/DLC ownership w/ Family pack

We have a Family Pack on our Xbox 360. When an arcade game is downloaded, we know that any gamertag on our home console can play it. We also know that avatar items are tied to the gamertag that made the purchase.

Can any gamertag from our Family Pack play a downloaded arcade game on a different console, or is it just the gamertag that actually made the purchase that can play on a different console? Are the rules the same for DLC, such as song add-ons for Dance Central
2? And Games on Demand?

You'd need to be signed in and connected to Xbox Live, or using the console that you originally purchased the console on. If you're using another console, you can transfer the licenses to another console for offline use, but you'll need to be connected to
Xbox Live to do that.

It's no different for Arcade games over "real games", they've been coded for the 360 which is vastly different in how you code for Xbox One.

My Xbox 360 elite won't play my call of duty ghosts game it just says that its a unrecognized disc but my 360 arcade console plays it fine. I've cleared the cache down on the elite but this makes no difference. All my other games play fine its just this

It's a different system. It's kind of how we can't contact between each console. Eventually most of the Xbox 360 arcade/ondemand games will be available on Xbox One, but you'll have to buy them all over again.

I'd say keep the 360 and buy newer games on the One and or ones you don't have yet.

Regarding Xbox 360 arcade games, those games are programmed for the Xbox 360, you are now playing games on the Xbox One, they are totally different consoles. Its like asking "why cant I play Xbox 360 games on my PS3?" or "Why cant I play my PC games on
my Mac?"

Getting an Xbvox 360 arcade game to run on an Xbox One will require either an emulator (similiar to how they got SOME Xbox games to run on the Xbox 360) or the game has to be completely recoded to work on the Xbox One (alot of work for not much money) Basically
if you want to keep playing Xbox 360 arcade games, keep your 360.

With regards to demos, ye it is a little bit annoying that their is no longer any guaranteed demos with the Xbox One's version of arcade games, but their are two reasons for that.

1: Their are no longer any Xbox Arcade Games, games on the Xbox One are just that, games. That even applies to indie games.

2: Demos are actually alot of work to do and a report has shown that if a game has a demo,

it actually reduces sales, so now that developers are no longer being forced to do a demo (they had to on the 360) its understandable why developers arent wuick at making them (if at all)
