    XBOX 360 and XNA


    I know XNA is ancient at this point. I do not have access to an Xbox 1 currently and do have access to both VS2010 and the free XNA4.0 download. I have been to the Xbox Marketplace and they offer a screen for a Creators Club membership but this leads to
    a screen with no payment option. Does the Creators Club still exist? Do I still need a Creators Club membership to use the XNA development framework? If I have the PC requirements, is there anyway for me to setup my Xbox 360 for XNA development? Current Internet
    searches provide next to zero information since 2010 to 2012.

    I was having account issues with my xbox 360. After I resolved these I was able to access the Xbox store and both the creators club membership
    (at $99 a year) and the xbox 360 access app are both available. So XNA is still a viable development option for 360 development given you have a version of Visual Studio (such as 2010) and the XNA Framework (available from Microsoft) installed
    on a PC.

    @ goat, considering you've played minecraft you do enjoy indie games (an inferior port of the pc indie at that)

    the XNA indies (formally called "community games") are a joke.

    Good indies like warframe, don't starve, trine 2 ect on PS4 thrash the indie offerings on xbox 360 (cept for maybe the radiangames seris XNA games including CROSSFIRE and CROSSFIRE 2)

    Most XNA indies are so terribad, I have no idea why people cannot simply put in the effort to fact check and do a little research to what indies actually are. The indies on ps4 are nothing like the shovelware XNA brings.
